• Visit the Kavango Woodcarvers market.
• Depart Okahandja for Otjiwarongo and Otavi towards Tsumeb.

DAY 2

TSUMEB – ETOSHA

Depart from Makalani Hotel for Treesleeper Camp near Tsintsabis, home to the Hei//om Bushman, former inhabitants of Etosha. 
Depart for Mokuti on the Eastern side of Etosha. Lunch pack en-route.
Arrival at Mokuti Lodge. Remainder of day at leisure.

DAY 3

ETOSHA - OVAMBOLAND

After breakfast depart for Ovamboland, the most densely populated region in Namibia.
First stop will be at the Nakambale Museum at Olukondo. Visit the Ngonga homestead, observe a demonstration of basket weaving, etc., traditional dancing and music. A traditional lunch will be served.
Continue to Oshakati via Ondangwa
Arrive at Oshakati Country Hotel. Remainder of day at leisure.

DAY 4

OVAMBOLAND – WESTERN OVAMBOLAND

Drive through western Ovamboland. Different attractions will be visited. Continue to Opuwo via Ruacana. Lunch packs en route.

DAY 5

OVAMBOLAND – WESTERN BOARDER OF ETOSHA

Today a typical Himba settlement will be visited. A local guide accompanying the group will negotiate a visit to the “Kraal” with the headman and will explain lifestyle and the culture of the Himba.
Return to Opuwo and proceed in a southern direction to Hobatere Lodge. In the afternoon enjoy a game drive.
Return to the lodge for dinner.

WESTERN ETOSHA  - ETOSHA
