Tour 21 - KGALAGADI-MABUASEHUBE 4X4WILDERNESS TRAIL-BOTSWANA - KALAHARI 4x4 TOURS – EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED! - 9 DAYS / 8 NIGHTS

This tour is a combination of the Kgalagadi riverbeds and dunes. Most of the time we will have enough water just to have a small shower under an Acacia tree. Only Nossob is a fenced camp, the other camps are in the middle of nowhere, with very few other tourists to be seen.

MALARIA FREE!

Tour Program

DAY 2 - Nossob

Early morning wake-up to see in the Kalahari sand which animals visited us in the dark. Maybe the King was here? The tracks in the sand can be the only evidence. Today we safari drive to Nossob in the dry Nossob riverbed.

Overnight: Nossob camp – fenced –fully equipped -200km
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

DAY 3 - Matopi

Wake up early, have breakfast and start the Mabuasehube 4x4 trail. We can see vast herds of Eland in the lovely red dunes. Our safari drive takes us deep into the secret parts of the Kalahari.

Overnight: Matopi Camp - un fenced – limited water - 100km
Meals: Breakfast and dinner

DAY 4 and 5 – Mabuasehube game reserve

Early morning departure to this unspoilt part of the Kalahari. IMPORTANT: This is also an unfenced camp. The magic of these camps are the fact that we are very close to the magic of the Kalahari, making you feel much closer to nature.

We spend our time doing several game drives. This is prime predator area, and if we are lucky we might see the big cats, or if we are really lucky the big cats will visit us. Again your guide will handle the situation, as we have been doing these tours for many years. Every morning we do a walk to inspect the animal tracks around our camp. Many times the Leopard visits us, most of the time the only evidence will be his tracks in the Kalahari sand.

Overnight: Mabuasehube camping – unfenced - water available - 100km
Meals: Breakfast and dinner

DAY 6 – Mosomomane

Early departure on a safari drive to Mosomane campsite. What can we expect today? In the Kalahari we say always ‘expect the unexpected’!

DAY 7 - Nossob

We wake up one hour before sunrise and depart to Nossob in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. This camp has showers, and it will be great to enjoy the swimming pool! Nossob is famous for it’s Black-maned Lions that.
