Spend 6 days exploring the Garden Route and Winelands at a leisurely pace. DAY 1 WED    CAPE TOWN - OUDTSHOORN
Travel Route 62 via Montagu and the “Klein Karoo” to Oudtshoorn, ostrich capital of the world. Tour an Ostrich Show Farm. Overnight in Oudtshoorn. [D]

DAY 2 THURS    OUDTSHOORN - SWARTBERG MOUNTAINS - OUDTSHOORN
Tour the Cango Caves, before ascending the Swartberg Mountains via the world renowned Swartberg Pass. Explore Sandstone formations dating back more than 300 million years. Enjoy the full splendour of “fynbos” species ranging from proteas to “pin cushions”. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Oudtshoorn. [BL]

DAY 3 FRI    OUDTSHOORN - KNYSNA
Travel over Outeniqua Pass to George, continue to Knysna and board ferry to the Featherbed Nature Reserve. Enjoy trailer ride to top of Western Head and walk back through Milkwood trees for lunch. Overnight in Knysna. [BL]

DAY 4 SAT    KNYSNA
Travel to Plettenberg Bay before continuing to Bloukrans Bridge, currently offering the highest commercially operated Bungy Jump in the world. Drive through the Tsitsikamma Forests before returning to Knysna. Overnight in Knysna. [B]

DAY 5 SUN    KNYSNA - HERMANUS
Travel via George, Mossel Bay and Swellendam (lunch). Continue to Hermanus - world’s best shore based whale watching sites (Aug - Nov). Overnight in Hermanus. [BL]

DAY 6 MON    HERMANUS - CAPE TOWN
Depart Hermanus via coastal road to Somerset West. Continue to Stellenbosch for a wine tasting, before travelling to Cape Town, where the tour ends. [B] Passengers may disembark, on request, at Cape Town International Airport.
