Early morning game drive in Kruger National Park with packed breakfast. Search for “Big Five”. Enjoy prolific birdlife and numerous other game. Afternoon at leisure at hotel. Late afternoon open vehicle game drives available (optional and for own account). [B]

DAY 4 WED    MPUMALANGA

SIZABANTWANA CHILDREN BENEFIT ORGANISATION (HAZYVIEW, MPUMALANGA)
The SizaBantwana Children Benefit Organisation is a non-profit organisation that works in the rural communities surrounding Hazyview, Mpumalanga. SizaBantwana has about 400 children, orphaned or made vulnerable as a result of HIV/AIDS, that daily attend one of the five local care centres. The children participate in after school activities and receive a wholesome meal. SizaBantwana offers a positive environment for a bright and hopeful future.

COMMUNITY FARM SCHOOL (BARRYDALE, WESTERN CAPE)
During the 1960s farmers in the area decided to build a school for the labourers’ children. The multi-grade school offers education to children from Grades 1 - 6, with four classrooms, two teachers (one of whom is the principal) and an administrative clerk. The school receives a “Norms and Standards” allocation from the government which subsidises school fees, text books and general expenses.
