DAY 1

JOHANNESBURG - MPUMALANGA

An early departure from Johannesburg, travelling eastward towards historic Dullstroom.

±15 km after Witbank (Middelburg) we have our first refreshment stop

We continue, and at the small town of Belfast, we turn off the national road passing through the town, famous for its sheep & trout farming

We pass through the little village of Dullstroom and travel to Lydenburg where we stop for lunch (optional and for own account)

Depart Lydenburg via the Robbers Pass onto the mining town of Pilgrims Rest for a short stop.

Visit the Lone Creek Waterfalls before continuing to your lodge for overnight.

DAY 2

KRUGER PARK

MONDAY

There is an early morning breakfast and then a game drive in the Kruger Park where you spend the rest of the day searching for the big 5. 

Lunch stop in the Kruger (optional and for own account)

Continue to private game lodge for afternoon tea and evening game drive in open safari vehicle.

Return to lodge for dinner under the stars (weather permitting).

Overnight at lodge.

DAY 3

MPUMALANGA - PANORAMA ROUTE

TUESDAY

Early morning game viewing (choice between a bush walk or a game drive) in the Kruger Park

Return to the lodge for breakfast

After breakfast travel via Kowyn’s Pass to Graskop and then on to explore the Panorama route which features the Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondawels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, God’s Window and various waterfalls.

There is lunch en route (optional and for own account)

Arrive at your hotel late afternoon for your overnight stay

DAY 4

MPUMALANGA - JOHANNESBURG

WEDNESDAY

After an early breakfast we continue our journey with a short game drive in the Kuger Park in your closed vehicle. 

Exit the park and drive through Nelspruit to Machadodorp to arrive in the late afternoon in Johannesburg.
