An early departure from Johannesburg, travelling eastward towards historic Dullstroom.
± 15 km after Witbank (Middelburg) we have our first refreshment stop
We continue, and at the small town of Belfast, we turn off the national road passing through the town, famous for its sheep & trout farming
We pass through the little village of Dullstroom and travel to Lydenburg where we stop for lunch (optional and for own account)
Depart Lydenburg via the Abel Erasmus Pass and the JG Strijdom Tunnel, passing through beautiful scenery, and travel through Lebowa  (a former homeland)
Continue to a private game reserve near the Kruger National Park and arrive in time for afternoon tea
There is an opportunity for an open vehicle safari game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight

DAY 2

PRIVATE GAME LODGE – MPUMALANGA

WEDNESDAY

There is an early morning bush walk with an opportunity to learn about Africa’s smaller species in the animal Kingdom.
Arrive back at the lodge for breakfast
Afterwards, continue to the Kruger National Park where you spend the rest of the day searching for the big 5. 
Lunch stop in the Kruger (optional and for own account)
Arrive in the late afternoon at your next hotel, just outside the Kruger National Park
Dinner is served in a traditional African Boma (weather permitting)
Overnight near Kruger National Park.

Early morning game viewing in open vehicles in the Kruger Park (optional and for own account)
Return to the lodge for breakfast
After breakfast travel via Kowyn’s Pass to Graskop and then on to explore the Panorama route which features the Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondawels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, God’s Window and various waterfalls.
There is lunch en route (optional and for own account)
Continue to Pilgrim’s Rest (a historic town) where there is a short visit; the Mac Mac Falls and Sabie. 
Arrive at your hotel for your overnight stay

MPUMALANGA- JOHANNESBURG

FRIDAY

After a leisurely breakfast we continue our journey via the Lone Creek Falls.  Short stop at the falls
Continue the journey over the Long Tom Pass to the towns of Lydenburg, Dullstroom and Witbank, and arrive in the mid afternoon in Johannesburg.
